After years of studying various subjects like engineering, linguistics, and philosophy at several universities without pursuing a degree, Cale returned to university and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Finance and Banking Management from Stamford International University.
He spent a number of years teaching Math and Science in Thailand. Cale used his linguistic skills to assist doctors in providing medical care for migrant farm laborers, to serve as a linguist in the United States Air Force, and to provide foreign language education for students.
He is excited to pursue his passion for education back in the US for Indigo.
80% of the world’s population lives on less than $10 per day. The fact that you are reading this via your internet-connected device means that you are incredibly lucky and privileged. Like me, you are part of a global elite, almost entirely due to the circumstances of your birth. I believe that we have a tremendous obligation to add value to a society which has given us so much opportunity.
In my youth, I used my privilege to travel the world and relentlessly pursue knowledge and new experiences without focus or direction. As I matured and started a family, I started to understand the value of responsibility, hard work, and my obligation to give society a return on its investment. I believe that access to opportunity and a life of dignity cannot exist without access to quality education, and I feel a responsibility to contribute to that end in any way I can. I am truly honored to be a member of the Indigo Team and to play my part in changing education for the better.
